Despite the dusting of fresh snow that fell during the night, the need for thick wool socks from Peru, and the window's draft that creates a sub-zero freezer under my desk, it feels like to spring to me. Perhaps it is the sun rising through the trees. Perhaps it is just wishful thinking.
Whatever it is, I feel energized. I've started thinking about platform and audience building and those of you working really hard, every day on this.
To celebrate my premature spring joy and your hard work, I'm inviting you to be a guest on my blog. Submissions should probably be about books, writing or the writer's life (which means if its not about writing, it is humorous because I always like to laugh). Should be well-written. Otherwise, I'm open.

Basically, we've had no winter here in North Florida. We had two nights that fell below freezing, then back up to 60s and 70s.
I love this spin of talking about books we love in lieu of Valentine's Day. I'm in!
Going to email you about the guest post offer.

Richard, that sounds like ideal weather!
Catherine, looking forward to it!
So excited about the people who have emailed already! Any others interested?
I'm glad you feel energized by thoughts of spring. Here in the California mountains, where usually we have snow in the winter, there has been none. The weather is cold at night, in the 50s or 60s during the day. With what seems like eternal sunshine. Sorry, didn't mean to provide such a long weather report. Have a nice evening.
